******* amazing; I've been waiting for something like this. I assume you're prevented from rendering Friendly/Neutral or Hostile on other maps in the PDA due to A-Life restrictions or something of the sort, but this is massively helpful regardless. When I work 70hr in 7 days then have a week off to return to the Zone, it gets tough to remember where all my allies' checkpoints are ;)

I do not know for sure. Try to make a backup of the files and check. I think the new game is not necessary.

I'm using dynamic hud, OWRm outfits addon and Dr X's addons and I dont see any map spots on the pda.

Saved the ability to optionally enable/disable the display of units on the global map (in the "Options/Game" and enable/disable the "Show the health of enemies").
The new version of the mod has a broken file, the "sim_squad_scripted.script" file, with it, you can't see the squad commanders, thus, you can't see anyone in the map, just removing it seems to fix the issue
The author says that this can be, if you is not the same version. At our ap-pro do not complain.
Try to put this mod is now on 1.4.16. Do not forget to include in the game settings.

Could you attach this feature to something else than "Show enemy health" ? It would be great ! Like Dynamic News maybe ? Because, it kinda breaks immersion when i see the health bar of the enemy, every time i shoot him.

Not really... It kinda breaks the surprise of meeting a bloodsucker in the middle of the night, and be scared for your life. :D
For me, The most important thing in this mod, is that i'm able to see my faction squads on the map so i can send orders to them. (Warfare mod)

In the 1.4.16 release I have managed to hide the enemy/mutants dots. I haven't used the latest release, so I can share the edited xml files for the old version, but they need a merge with the new files.

Group leaders isn't turning green, while rest members are green but only on radar(leaders still yellow on radars too). And on map squad stay yellow too.
Try redownload mod and now getting stable crash when try load saved game. When mod remove saves works.

If someone want to hide the pointers for hostile and mutants, you have to comment the content of the tags
<alife_presentation_squad_enemy_1>
and
<alife_presentation_squad_monster_1>
from both map_spots.xml and map_spots_16.xml

I think I've found the way to separate the addon from the "show enemy health" option - in this way the addon is always enabled. I have to do some tests, then I'll link the edited files here (this and the no hostiles and mutants spots).

I can't use the fast travel option for some reason after installing this, any help on how to solve it or at the very least how to uninstall it?
The author was not able to fix the problem. In general, a stalker - about the travel game, not fast travel....
Possible Bug:
Tags for humans/zombies are showing up in English (Ecologist, Mercenary, Zombified, Loner), but mutant tags show up in Russian. Also, Clear Sky never specified what kind of Mutants were in a pack, it just said "Mutants". Not sure if that's intended.
Other than that, does "Show Enemy Health" also perform it's original function? I'd like to have the squads show up, but I don't want to see the health of individual enemies.
I've been fiddling with other mods, on and off, but I still cannot get this one to work. I can't get the PDA to display the units on the map. I have "Show Enemy Health" on, but still nothing is happening.
I personally don't like having to enable Show Enemy Health for this to work so I came up with a really simpe fix.
Using a text editor (I prefere Notepad++) open gamedata/scripts/sim_squad_scripted.script and change
"enable_show_enemy_health",1,false) == true)
to
"enable_show_enemy_health",1,false) == false)
There are two lines pretty close to eachother with this value that you'll need to change.
Now the fact that Enemy Health is -disabled- is what causes the PDA markers to work!
